One of my favorite places to be.

Hello, and welcome.

My name is Susan Dolph. I am a clinical social worker and psychotherapist. I use she/her pronouns.

I established Tapestry Psychotherapy based on a belief in our human interdependence. We rely on each other to be at our best. When I am at my best, I am more patient. More tolerant. More accepting. When I am at my best, my boundaries are strong. My sense of who I am is strong. When I am at my best, my life is simply better. The people around me meet a patient, tolerant, accepting person.

Therapy work is difficult. It can even be painful. It can be funny, too, and even wondrous. Therapy can help you to be your best, and that is good for you and good for the people around you. Your life can feel better. You can learn your strengths. You can grow into the next version of yourself.

Tapestry offers supportive, individualized therapy that is focused on the whole person.

Interested in a specific therapeutic style or modality? Therapy can be molded to your interests and needs, both in-person and via telehealth. I typically use a variety of methods including: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); Internal Family Systems (IFS); Dignity Therapy; Narrative Therapy; Brief, Psychodynamic Therapy; Somatic Experiencing (SE). I have completed an intensive certificate program to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Somatic therapy helps attune a person to their body in order to more fully understand and process thoughts and emotions.

My therapy style is supportive and relationship-based, focused on strength and growth. If you would like to schedule a consultation to see if we might be a good match for therapy work, please get in touch.
